I rented four houses in Big Canoe from Mountain Home Rentals of GA in October of 2011 and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. We were there for our wedding, which as you may know can be an incredibly stressful time. Their willingness to work with us to find the accommodations we needed, their prompt replies to questions, and excellent follow-through on everything we discussed made the process of making these arrangements as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. The houses were exceptional, spacious and clean and very nicely furnished and the rates were very competitive. We received many compliments from our guests about how nice the houses were and how much they enjoyed themselves. I would not hesitate to rent from them again and would recommend their services to any of my friends. We also rented a few houses from another agent, and let’s just say the experience was not as good, to put it mildly. If you need a house in Big Canoe go through Mountain Home Rentals of GA, you will be glad you did!!

I love it when I am surrounded by beauty while I am on vacation. This place has it everywhere you look. This cabin is decorated with a designers touch...in every room! There are so many little places to sneak away and have alone time with your honey or to just read a book ;-) We enjoyed the recreation center just down the road and had such a fun day (my favorite besides making the fun memories were the awesome water slides). Thank you for creating such a lovely place to make wonderful memories :-)

The Jacuzzi placed just within eye and earshot of Blackwell creek, the truly isolated, meditative and (even) romantic environment of the 'Sleepy Porch' along with the steam shower are just the beginning. Every bed in the house feels like 'Cloud 9', and all of the bedrooms have their own sense of privacy so that you can get away from your getaway if vacationing with multiple families (downstairs room is one of my favorites!). I highly recommend with 5 out of 5 stars! I have never been to a rental that was so fully equipped as yours; it made packing so much easier. I didn't even have to bring a hair dryer! Because your cabin was so user friendly, we were able to enjoy making precious memories as a family instead of trying to figure out how things work. Our favorite spot was the porch at the back of the house with the fireplace, we spent many mornings and evenings out there. It was so nice to sit out there and listen to the storms while being comforted by the flames from the fire. Thank you for taking the time and detail to make your cabin feel like a home when I walked in! It was truly a sanctuary for my family!

Our family arrived late Friday afternoon, just in time for 5:00 cocktails! The stay was truly amazing. Plenty of room to roam around and get lost in a book or take a nap, the kids played outside for hours and the open floor plan of the family room made dinners and entertaining very fun and easy. The beds are comfortable, the place extremely clean, and plenty of amenities within the house as well as the golf, tennis, hiking trails, Clubhouse, swimming pools, lake beach and workout facility. The place is gorgeous and we would highly recommend staying at this wonderful and unique home. Trust me when Monday morning rolls around you will not want to leave this place!!!

We stayed at Lake Walk property in the summer months a found it to be wonderfully appointed by the owners, very "homey" in feel, yet classy enough for a memorable vacation getaway. All the amenities were at our finger tips; we could have stayed self-contained and relaxed at the cabin, just as easily as we could have partaken in all that Big Canoe has to offer (sights, golf, tennis, pools, dining out, etc.) If you are looking to rent a fully equipped, well maintained mountain chateau, this is a terrific choice. The pictures tell the story best. You won't be disappointed!
