This picture-perfect cabin makes for an incredible getaway.   Loaded with stylish charm from room to room. it is a cozy, yet stylish retreat, nestled in a beautiful wooded hillside glen- with creek!

Enter the beautifully restored timber and white chink cabin, by a rocking chair front porch to the open plan dining, living area and kitchen.

- Living Space-

The living area is perfect for gathering and has beautiful views of the wooded glen outdoors thru multiple windows and a treehouse-like screened back sitting porch.  Downstairs a second living room with TV is perfect for movie night or the game and boasts a stylish electric flat screen fireplace. Behind the living room is a second screened porch sitting area, a great spot to sit and listen to the beautiful sound of the creek or read a book. Outside, nestled at the back of the cabin, is a beautiful fire pit perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature and the sounds of the nearby creek.

-Kitchen & Dining-

This beautiful and newly renovated open-plan cabin boasts a well-appointed kitchen- just the spot for preparing a meal, cup of coffee, or a snack.  The dining table seats 5, and overlooks the stacked stone fireplace and hearth of the living room.

-Beds & Bathrooms-

The primary bedroom is upstairs and has an attached bathroom and private living room with TV.  The main floor bedroom (king) shares a stylish (hall) full bath and has a TV.  The cozy wall bunk on lower level, shared the half bath.

 This beautiful home has 4 TVs (main living room, both bedrooms, and lower living room).

THE AREA:
Big Canoe is an 8,000-acre wildlife gated community in the hardwood forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of Atlanta, offering over twenty-four miles of maintained hiking trails and plenty of wildlife including deer, black bears, and turkey. With seven mountains and five lakes, the community has a beautiful backdrop for its three championship golf courses, fourteen tennis courts, three swimming pools (one Big indoor), swimming lake (with beach, paddle boats, canoes, & paddle boards), stunning mountain lake (with marina, fishing & rental pontoon boats) and first class wellness center and basketball court. As a renter, you have access to all of the Big Canoe amenities paid directly for each amenity. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any passes with the rental. We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the home or the community. You can reach us through your booking conversation thread, or you can speak to our 24/7 Guest Experience Department.

OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 6 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 6 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.

RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:
We have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis and pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog park, beach, water slide.

PARKING:
Easy access to home- from the large, level driveway and parking area. Room to park multiple cars.

**CLEANING PROTOCOLS**    A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue.  All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants.  We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards.  We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-)   This beautiful home is not pet friendly.  :-) 

GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict "No Party"policy.

QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.

COFFEEMAKERS:
Keurig and drip coffeemakers.

FIREPLACE:
Is wood burning (not gas), guests are welcome to bring firelog or firewood.

SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.

MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 25 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 25 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees).  If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded.  Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded.  We will do our best to work with each guest.  We have many repeat guests so we try to take care of each and every one.

SECURITY:
This home only has outward facing security cameras. There are no cameras inside the home.
