My family and my parents stayed in a cabin for a weekend. The trip was for my dad and I to hike the AT Approach Trail and some of the AT. I wanted a place with room for everyone that stayed back while we were out. This place was that and more! It is a huge house with 3 levels. So much space for everyone and more! The view is incredible and it is so easy to communicate to the resort via text. As we were packing up, we were ready to book again! We will definitely be back!

Our over all impression of the property was very good. We have rented several properties in Big Canoe and Blue Ridge. All have their unique personalities. Loved the quaintness and over all feel of Cloud Nine. This was the first time renting from this particular company, so a little different. My only recommendation would be a better stocked kitchen and more attention paid to the cleanliness of the kitchen. A small problem with the fireplace, but was handled quickly and professionally.

We absolutely loved our stay! Leah was very kind and responsive to all my questions. Our team stayed here for just a weekend and it was really nice for all 11 of us. The beds were extremely comfortable and so was the furniture. Some of us even fell asleep on the couches because they were so cozy. We would love to stay here if we visit the area in the future. Very accommodating and awesome host! Highly recommend staying here!!!

Update- the owner did have the upstairs heat flow checked by Associated Air, the company that cares for the house, and they found the upstairs heated just as the lower level did. They wondered if one of the thermostats has been set to cool which can be hard to see. We wish we had known, to troubleshoot for you, we appreciate you and wish you and every guest to have the most comfortable and wonderful stay- you are important to us!.

The property was ideal for our group. Lots of winding roads to traverse to get to the property. Downstairs bathtub/shower didn’t drain well so you ended up standing in water while tsking a shower. Hot water heater couldn’t keep up with ten people.

More than we could have asked for. Neat as a pin and spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Very roomy and would be great for a family reunion. It rained almost the entire time we were there, but that was ok. We had dinner at the Black Bear Pub, and it was exceptional. Very relaxed and good food and drink. We only had a short stay but would come back for the trails and waterfalls next time.

Great place for a large group. We had 10 men 18+ with us and we fit with no problems. Property is peaceful and clean. Fishing not really worth it ($20) but still tried it anyway. All in all a great trip. Also its not clear on instructions but pool access does cost extra ($20).

Thank you for staying with us and your kind words. :-) The Wellness Center (which has a pool, hot tub, fitness equipment and classes) and the Beach Club which has a pool, lake swimming, paddle boards, pedal boats, kayaks, a long rock water slide, are large lake area with inflatables to walk, slide and climb, lifeguards and life jackets and multiples areas of chaise lounges for sitting have a daily rate of $20 to cover the costs of what they offer. Loved the rental and location! We didn’t really even have to leave Big Canoe except to go to the grocery store. Only thing I wish is that the property could have provided more necessities such as hand soap; dish washing soap; laundry detergent (we were supposed to start a load of towels before leaving but nothing to wash with?); trash bags; aluminum foil; salt&pepper Just little items that would’ve made the stay that much better. Doesn’t cost a lot but it means a lot.

We had 3 generations staying from age 17-83. Plenty of space for all. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Bring hangers if you plan to hang clothes up. Kitchen had all that we needed. The large windows in the living room provide a beautiful view of lake. We enjoyed the fireplace also. Home looks exactly like the pictures provided. Town of Jasper is 15 minutes away with restaurants and shops. Don’t miss the winery…. Cairn View Winery. It’s close by and beautiful. Big Canoe is huge. Lots of activities. We’ll plan another visit in the summer.

Our family enjoyed our stay so much we extended for one day. Deborah at Mountain Home Rental could not have been better. She responded quickly during booking, before and during the stay. We had an issue getting the fireplaces to work when we checked in on Sunday. She had someone come to the home that day and take care of it. Thanks for the special attention!

The home is very comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated. It really captures the lake cabin feeling in a very spacious home. Neighbors are close on either side but you hardly know it. The place is very peaceful and quiet. Our gathering of family here was to attend a memorial service for the loss of my daughter. It was so helpful to have such a peaceful and beautiful place to return to after the service. The children loved the house as well and enjoyed all of the teddy bears.

Even though the houses are close together, we didn’t feel a lack of privacy. The house is surrounded by trees so you feel like you’re in a treehouse when looking through the big windows! We had 8 adults and a 4 year old and had plenty of room (except in the kitchen which is small for a house this size). Big Canoe is a wonderful place to vacation and all the employees were so nice. We will be back!

Went with my family of 11 ranging in ages 8-56 and everyone had a great time. The house is way bigger and nicer than the pictures show. It has three living rooms, one on each of the three floors. The bottom floor has two rooms, one bathroom, and an outdoor patio. Middle floor has the kitchen, a master room with its bathroom, and another patio. The top floor has two rooms and one bathroom. Great location within the Big Canoe community. Right next to the rec center, a minute or two from the clubhouse, and right across the lake with those lake views directly seen from anywhere in the house. Overall, amazing experience. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing cabin. Everything we needed was there. Property was very well taken care off. My kids, my husband, and I loved it. It was very spacious. Loved the deck and the grill. My house is too small to accommodate our expanding family for Christmas, so we rented Lakeside Cloud 9. There were plenty of bedrooms and living spaces to make everyone comfortable and happy. The house is nicely decorated and the kitchen was large enough to cook our traditional holiday dinners. The view of the lake was spectacular. We appreciate all that the rental agents did to make our 2014 holiday one of our best!

Spent a great long weekend with extended family of 12 at Lakeside Cloud 9. The accomodations were perfect for 8 adults and 4 children. Furnishings were very comfortable and the many activities available at Big Canoe kept all ages busy and entertained. A private dining room and delicious meal at the Club House capped off the weekend. I would highly recommend for a family get-to-gether.

My extended family and I enjoy getting away for Christmas and we are very pleased we chose this property for our Holiday getaway. This lovely house was very accommodating for 10 adults and has room for 12. The house is modern, very clean and well appointed with quality furniture, bedding and electronics for your enjoyment. Equipped with new flat screen TV's, High Speed Internet that covers the whole house, satellite and blue-ray player. We enjoyed the 3 levels this beautiful home provides, an upstairs loft are with TV, the main great room with gas log fireplace, satellite TV and downstairs family room with fireplace and satellite TV too. With this much room, teens and adults can have some alone time when needed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need to make some gourmet dinners or just fix a few snacks. The main deck has a gas BBQ great for grilling anytime of year. I highly recommend this property for your next family gathering or just to de-stress. The lake view is gorgeous and you are close to lovely downtown Jasper for antiquing, sightseeing or grabbing a nice dinner and cocktails. The towns of Blue Ridge, Clarkesville, Ellijay and Dahlonega are just a short drive away. Management is very helpful and very friendly as well. All in all we had a very merry time here and will definitely add this property to our favorites list.

I recently stayed with my family and friends over a long weekend, and absolutely enjoyed the stay. Nicely located overlooking the lake. My personal favorite is sitting in the deck in the morning hours with fresh breathe of air from the lake. Kids had great time downstairs playing games in nicely secluded area. All the activities like swimming pool, park were with in easy reach, we had a great outdoor time. Kids enjoyed visit to the Fire Station and look into the fire truck, it was totally surprising. While you are there, dont forget to take a morning walk on the golf-cart lane near the house.

We went with our family &friends to this Lakeside Cloud 9 home to enjoy the weekend. It was really very peaceful & beautiful as always. Our kids enjoyed the little hike in the mountains,played in the field & rolled from the hill. They also loved to play in the Natural water slide. Having just returned from vacation, we have no hesitation in recommending this place to others. The cottage is spacious, modern, clean, well equipped with all we wanted.. This is a really lovely family home which has been furnished to a very high standard and has the great bonus of wifi connection (handy for uploading photos from camera or checking locations etc). We just wish that we could have stayed longer!

This house was everything i had hoped for our friends get together. We were a big goup, with adults and children of all ages. And the house had a place for everyone. The view of the lake from the family room and especially the loft is spectacular. The interior decoration has been done very tastefully and you immediately feel at home. The house was spacious and comfortable, including the beds(unlike many rental homes). We spent hours in the main deck, grilling and playing games. It was huge, and we could have practically lived there. There is an additional deck from the basement, which was the kids favorite hang out place. We had a wonderful time at this house, and hope to visit again.

My family had the pleasure to visit this property over the New Year's weekend. We certainly enjoy Big Canoe and this property enhanced our visit. The girls loved the decorative taste of the owners. They especially enjoyed their own movie room with fireplace downstairs which was tucked away from the kids who played games and watched TV from the upstairs balcony sitting area. The men watched football games on the ground floor close to the kitchen. We have stayed in larger homes but it seemed that this property really offered something for all to enjoy. We were close to the marina and hiking trails as well as a short drive to the club for dinner. All in all, we were very satisfied with this property and we really appreciate the administrative help that was given..
